So, the blog has been quite silent the past months. Being at Georgia Tech has afforded less random photo opportunities that my earlier work depended on. However, things haven't been stagnant! I've had some awesome opportunities--namely, I photographed a lot of firsts: my first concert, my first engagement session, my first wedding (as the main photographer), as well as my first senior portrait session. It's been a fun time of experimenting and expanding. Feel free to check them out at www.joshualongeneckerphotography.com ! Even more exciting news is in the works--info to come over the next few months as the details are ironed out!
However, there's something starting now to whet your appetite...On Wednesday, I'm headed off to Europe with one of Georgia Tech's study abroad programs--traveling through Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, France, and Belgium partaking in their culture, art, and music until late June, then I'll be using Oxford, England as a home base, traveling to indeterminate locations for the remaining 6 weeks (ie, lots of fun stories about a handful of friends and I as we attempt to travel across Europe)!
What does this mean? I'm starting a daily photoblog to document my journey over the summer. I can't promise I'll always have internet, and I may get behind occasionally, but it'll be an amazing way to document where I'm going. Best of all, you get to join in the journey!
Bookmark the blog, put it on your RSS feed--whatever it takes to remind yourself to check in regularly and partake in the action and hear the first hand epic-poems....I mean reports! I'll handle analyzing those epic poems. You just relax and enjoy the ride!
